| Trip to the South Russia |

The best thing about a business trip is that is finishes sooner o later… also it helps to take a lot of chocolate….
In Krasnodar – Stavropol – Rostov roses are blossoming end of October – quite unusual for us, Northern citizens! – we were lucky with the weather – the sun was shining, temperature plus 18 – 20! As usual I was short of time to pack my bag - 15 – 20 minutes at 5 30 am. Fortunately, my autopilot works well, and nearly none of unnecessary things were packed, and all the absolute minimum was packed! For a week trip my luggage turned to be pleasantly light!
The seeing of Krasnodar – ohh:( - traditionally was short – the view of night town from w window of landing plane…. Waiting for luggage after midnight, not even trying to wake up – and – good buy! – the car takes us for further travel…. Roads in Krasnodarsky Kray are very good, can not say the same about Stavropol region.
The town of Novocherkassk has the third largest Cathedral in Russia. The town wa set up 200 years ago, at the same time the construction of the Cathedral started. It collapsed twice, being nearly done… only the third attempt was successful.. and at the end of last century the town received wonderful powerful Cathedral with golden cupolas. Fortunately, it was not exploded along with hundreds others very soon after, but, unfortunately, it was devastated. Gold from cupolas was stripped together with foundation, so rain and snow ruined the beautiful interiors for many years… Now the exterior is restored. Entering the cathedral, one feels enchanted with powerful interiors, high cupolas… What a barbarism – to ruin such a beauty, bearing in mind the cost of thi construction! Also there are two museums worth of visiting in the town – the history of Kazaks with collection of beautifully decorated sabres and the former residence of hetmans with portraits of all hetmans, marvellous parquets and nice view of the main street.
The conference was in village of Persianovka… about the name of it there were three options: - Persians lived here, - peaches were grown here, - of beautiful Persian girls wer brought here after war trips to the South. Choose one you like most!
About landmarks of Rostov the local people did not tell much. I was advised to see the central street – Bolshaya Sadovaya, Embankment and Pushkinskaya street. The Embankment was not worse of seeing, the central street was a typical one with rows of expensive boutiques, for it defence I may say that in the Café Golden Spike they have delicious hot chocolate and huge choice of cakes! And Pushkinskaya street is a real pearl, especially now, decorated in gold of autumn leaves! |

Ok, I survived the 10 km run. For a couple of days after all my body felt hurt, but now I almost recovered. It was cold that day, first time for many runs in previous years, so it helped a lot…. At least I was not suffering from burning sunshine and hot asphalt!
I tried to attract all possible ways of meditation to make me move for an hour, as the more I do dancing, the more boring looks the monotonous tip top of running… so my mantras were: I can… I want…I believe… I like… The first three was ok, but I did not manage to find anything I like in it till very end…. The moment I stopped at finish was moment of happiness Still I like very much the atmosphere and the spirit of it.. |

Tomorrow is Moscow Marathon. Me with children always participate at 10 km run. We'll do tomorrow as well! |

Hello to everybody!
finally I set up a page here, please reply with your thoughts and comments, or feel free still to write to my usual address if you preffer:)
something that happened recently:
I have not decided yet, if I should be upset that yesterday night some car hit mine at front right corner of bumper and badly damaged it, when I was driving, or shall I be happy that the rest of the car is not damaged!
Also it's a shame that I can not even to learn a lesson from this accident as I did not do anything wrong in this case.... the other car dissapeared in the darkness...
And just an hour before, joining the main road, again in the darkness, I nearly hit into a bicyclist, who was going very fast, without lights, of course... He even fall of his bicycle... I am really scared...
And the day before was a magic eveing... I woke up because of sound of rain, but through windows and balcony I could not understand if it was raining, or I am still dreaming.... Then I saw the lightening.... I went out - it was pouring with rain!!! Water everywhere.... But so clean, the feeling of purification... I started to drive.... felt like in a submarine... Car windows all covered with water... Nothing can I see... I felt like I am still sleeping and I am in some strange unfamiliar town....
I arrived to tango place... went down the staricase...
Warm air, familiar charming music... Couples drawing magic laces on tango.... I sat in a leather chair, watching them... cosy... nice |
